Broadway's ChartWatch

So I'm doing research, and surprising to me, Raymond v. Raymond is #1. Now not saying that I doubt Usher or that I don't think he a great artist, but after Taylor Swift won album of the year, it's hard to believe a lot in today's music. I'm actually kinda glad that Usher is climbing back up because Lord knows that i was scared for his career after that last album. I mean really, you can't go from playa' to family man all in one motion, you have to take baby steps. I want to point out the teaming with Nicki Minaj for Lil' Freak was the better decision. It gave him back that touch his fans haven't seen in a while. Well hangin' at #2 on the charts is the "controversial" Erykah Badu with New Amerykah, Part Two. Okay now, does she really deserve the title "controversial" or is she just provin' the world wrong and speakin' the truth in a melody or are today's critic's draws' ridin' too tough. hearing a song and listening to a song are two totally different activities. Not only is Erykah's music meant to be acknowledged globally but it is to be is to be acknowledged mentally. I think the world is over reacting to her Window Seat video. Can someone please break down the issue for me.? So it's okay for Usher and Trey Songz to call a sex tape a music video but if one just so happens to want to include her body in explaining her prospectives on the world, the shit is on CNN, whathehell? If I stand butt ball naked on top of the GM building singin' Bag Lady I might only get Facebook and maybe Fox 2 whatsupwiththat? On the Next One, next in line is Monica. Now some of us have been waiting for Monica to step back into the spotlight and the wait is over. So we all know the breakthrough was Trust with Keyshia Cole, right? Okay, was that or was that not a bad decision, on Keyshia's part, on featuring Monica on that song? Keyshia Cole can even step foot in an ocean with Monica. Some of the radio stations, re-remastered the song and kinda had Monica drown Keyshia out in most of the song. Ha, sad shit right.? Monica hit us hard with her most recent single "Everything To Me". Though, I wonder how many of the 80,000 fans that bought her album know that the hit is a complete copy. Okay, so Denise Williams made pretty much the exact same song in 1981, only her's was called Silly. I'm guessing making this comeback was a lot on Monica, so of course why not rely on the easier option, take something else and simply changed the title. Hey, i don't know about ya'll but I still got love for Monica, she doing her thing, can't be pissed. The Black Eyed Peas just sold another 43,000 copies of The E.N.D. They always have something to bring to the table and that's why they'll always be around. Now, I really think this artist has to make a move and make that move quickly. Ludacris fall at #7 on this list. I see that his new Battle of the Sexes isn't rising on the charts. He managed to sell only 39,000 copies this week. Besides the fact that almost everyone in America has limewire, I think that Luda is really falling behind on his job. These late couple albums have been, okay. Just okay, and that's not usual Luda. Yo, this is the weeks hip hop charts and to me, the only real hip hop artist on the list are Erykah Badu, Ludacris and The Black Eyed Peas. Am i wrong
That's Reason4Boadway.
